Nearly reaching it, I slowly came to a stop to catch my breath. Slinging the backpack over my shoulder, I rushed downstairs, yelled a goodbye to my parents, and bolted out the door and down to the docks. Lol, I sound like I’m talking to you through an ad or a TV Commercial XD) pattern. Search up “ color schemes” for more information. Heck, even I used to think monochromatic referred to black and white, until I took an official art class, where I learned “a”chromatic means “no” color, “mono”chromatic means “one” color, and “poly”chromatic means “several” colors! :D Now of course, there are other color schemes, but these were the first three I was taught of. I had to get that out there because you would have no idea how many people use monochromatic for black and white, instead of achromatic! Trust me, it’s very rare that I’ll see someone use the term monochromatic correctly in a fanfiction, and it’s also very rare that I ever even see the word achromatic in a fanfiction.
And before you comment ‘No, monochromatic does!’, monochromatic means it uses only one color, like it’s only shades of red, or blue, etc, but achromatic refers to black and white. I would’ve said pixels, but these are the Viking times! They didn’t have computers then!) achromatic (A/N: Achromatic means without color. I had rescued it, and decided that it would be the first dragon I would hatch and bond with when I started attending School of Dragons. No, not a chicken egg, a dragon egg! I had found it a few days ago, about to be eaten by a hungry Monstrous Nightmare. After I finished getting dressed, I grabbed my backpack, and placed an egg inside. My eyes widened, “That’s right!” I quickly hopped out of bed and got dressed quicker than you could say ‘Loki’s pranked me!’.
“School of Dragons, of course! You’re going to dragon training school, remember?” “School?…” I asked groggily, “What school?” “(Y/N)!” I heard my mother call from downstairs, “Wake up! Your first day of school is today!”
